I liked it, thanks. I wouldn't call myself in any way a BJM person, however I do have the One Dove album and Dot Allison's first solo album.

This captures a vintage performance with very good quality soundboard audio, coupled with slightly more gritty handy cam footage and a bit of TV broadcast vision edited into the middle.

The blurriness is authentic because, if I had of been in the audience, I probably would have had several ciders beforehand.

Are Arsenal in a good position to add to the squad this summer then?

KM: Yes. They have got no cost control concerns whatsoever, would be my observation.

The wages are well under control. They have used Stan Kroenke as their lender. Whether that is going to go ahead, we will have to wait for the ruling on the new associated party transactions rules.

But even if that goes in favour of the Premier League, I don’t see Arsenal have any problems at all.

They are in a very strong financial position to spend what they want. They spent £256m last season and £251m the previous season. They have certainly got the capacity to invest heavily in the market - should they wish to do so. They have the capacity.

But it, as we have seen with other clubs, is about spending it well rather than spending it big that ultimately matters. Spending it big and well is the absolute sweet spot.

There's still nothing better than massacring Spurs!

I found some decent fan footage of Emily Fox's goal.

Looks like Kim Little had a ball to McCabe that might have had her 1 on 1 with the 'keeper, but then we wouldn't have had the Emily Fox thunderbastard. Such a short back lift. You can see Russo (I think) shout at her to shoot and Little pointing to top bins and Emily obliged.

Great cross for the first goal from KCC, and I thought she was great in the rest of general play until she got subbed. Unfortunately, I don't think it counts as an assist. It was interesting to look at the Sofascore ratings/stats though.

Mariona's goal is also a work of art in the way she got to the rebound from her blocked shot and stabbed the ball outside of the defenders.

Russo was clinical in her finish.

The team hardly put a foot wrong. On the other hand Spurs were so feeble, on another day, we may have had a few more!

I was pretty sanguine for yesterday’s men game vs Leicester and I’m even more relaxed for the WSL game, today. These may be famous last words. COYG!

We finally have a striker who is a former Newcastle and Sociedad player that we have been coveting.

For some reason, I’m feeling alright about this one.

Thanks, I had a listen. I could really picture them playing at a festival like this.

It's already Friday 14 Feb where I am, so that means that I have been able to stream the new Horsegirl album Phonetics On and On a couple of times, over breakfast. I really like it. This track is the ninth of the 11 songs on the album.

Apparently, Chelsea also have a striker problem.

That leaves Maresca to choose between persisting with Christopher Nkunku as a striker or using Cole Palmer as a false 9. Nkunku, whose future was in the air during the January transfer window, did not impress as a forward against Brighton.

Chelsea, who are in fourth place, visit Brighton again in the league on Friday and questions will be asked about why they did not reinforce their attack last month. João Félix, the Portugal attacker, was allowed to join Milan on loan. Chelsea looked at signing a striker or a left-winger but decided to focus on targets for the summer.

Thought I would share a track I just heard on a radio show I listen to. A gorgeous, jangly sound from this duo who are based in Wiltshire, in England. Album coming in March, they say.

Disaster.

Arsenal forward Kai Havertz will be assessed after suffering a muscular injury during the team’s Dubai training camp.

The extent of the injury is not yet known but, given Arsenal’s already reduced options up front, staff are concerned.

Before Sophie Ellis-Bextor became a million selling dance pop diva, she was best known for being the daughter of a children’s TV presenter and also as the singer for this Britpop band.

the audience’s drummer was Patrick Hannan, who was previously in The Sundays.

As I’ve said elsewhere, I like a good rooftop music video.
