I recently switched from Iphone back to Android after giving Iphone a try. A lot of friends and family still use Iphone but would like a way to track my location.

What's the best app equivalent to Apple's Find My that's available on both Iphone and Android?

Google maps let's you share location with people

This is what I use regularly. I just keep it always on for my close friends and family, and they share theirs with me. It was very useful during a fair in which we all split up.

Why do your people need to know your exact location at all times? Seems incredibly invasive.

It's useful with close friends and family. Preferably the app would have a way to turn off sharing my location when I don't want it shared.

The Locus project is pretty promising. You can build for iOS but also generate links for those without the app
