Minimum requirements: 150 MB storage and 1GB RAM. I'm not sure why I'm so surprised that a game can be so lightweight and yet popular. It really puts the rest of the shiny graphics games industry to shame

1Gb RAM is kinda wild, no? I wonder what's eating up that much memory
Memory Hog Balatro.
I run it on my mobile and could honesty fry an egg afterwards. Is in serious need for some optimization.
I'm running on a S10+ with absolutely no issues. And this is a 6 year old phone.
I mean if most people have a phone that can run that pretty handily then why not uncompress the whole game into RAM to avoid any hiccups.
Presumably the minimum specs also needs to account for the resources to run the OS
I learned about Balatro only after it became very popular, and I have loved every minute of it.
I have to admit, I bought it twice. First on Switch and then later on mobile.
Bought it 3x. Steam, Android, iPad. I feel it's ok to support an independent dev that created an awesome game !
I think at this point Local Thunk should be the one supporting indie gamers rather than the other way around, he's a millionaire :P
What better way to support indie gamers than continuing to make indi games ?
Not even a fan of poker or deck games but enjoying this. Well worth the $10. I've beat a couple red difficulties, and finally just beat black deck. That was a pain.
That deck was such a killer!!! Thankfully the others are easier but I still haven't made it above red stake on anything lol

Love the game. Wish they'd fix the Android app so it wasn't "incompatible" with so many devices. Seems silly you can manually install the APK and play but you can't install it from the Play Store after purchasing it
Bought it two weeks ago on PC and also Mobile. Never even played a card game before. It's so addictive.
Does playing it through Apple Arcade count as "sold"? 😅
