The package reportedly includes one year of severance pay, with more for employees with more than 30 years of experience.

Seems like they're just adding a void year to everyone's contracts.

(And actually, a full year of severance is pretty generous, but I wonder if they get their health care paid for too.)

Makes sense, if you're going to have an incompetent Union it might as well be a cheap one.
