Thanks. I've been looking for a good review site, just bought the Earfun pro air 4s. Got Google buds, and each one is only lasting about 30m each on a charge.
Just chiming in to say STAY AWAY from sony. My wf-1000xm4s have been plagued with issues, and even after an RMA issues with them connecting inside the case still persist. Ridiculous for the price point.
Man that sucks I’ve been wanting a set. I have XM2 and I just missed the USB C model (and the XM5 isn’t foldable). Maybe I was lucky? Other than microphones not picking up my voice well during calls it is fantastic
Sony just isn't the name it used to be, unfortunately. I also bought a wireless speaker from them which loves to simply refuse to pair to my phone occasionally.
For a budget option, soundcore p40i are awesome. Considering that you can buy them for around 40€ when they are on sale.
I have the soundcore liberty 4, and I also really like it. Way better than the raycons I had.
I've been pretty happy with my Apple AirPods Pro
They’re definitely some of the best but expensive. Their ANC is incredible as is the transparency mode, it’s so good they may as well not be in my ears. They’re the only things keeping me sane at work in a shared office. I can’t hear a damned thing with them in and active. Plus the music sounds great for their size. And the battery life is god tier. They last forever.
I’ve got the newest version AirPods Pro 2 w/USB-C and MagSafe charging.
Jabra. I currently use the Elite 8 Active, I have had to previous generation buds from them too and always loved them. Sounds great good battery life and very reliable. They have some higher models too worth looking at
I have been a big fan of Jabra earbuds, but they’ve left that market entirely so I wouldn’t personally recommend buying them. It doesn’t bode well for long-term support. The Elite 10 I think is their last consumer true wireless set.
Well shit, didn't know that. That sucks because they had a good thing going.
Seriously. They were the sweet spot for me. Still haven’t found what I would use when I need to replace them, but I may end up receiving a free pair of AirPods Pro, so I guess free-and-passable wins.
Yeah it's a bummer. Will probably be pixel buds for me next when the time comes. I'll definitely be preserving my current set as long as I can though
I really like mine, JBL Tune 230NC
These are probably the best affordable ones. My wife likes her so much when they finally had crap battery life she asked for the exact same ones again.
I've had my Earfun Air Pro 3 earbuds since like July and I like them okay. Currently on sale for $76. I used to eat in front of my TV in the living room even when alone, but now I just sit at the dining table and pop these in. Especially with Vanced YouTube. The ads on the PS5 YouTube app became obtrusive to the point that I just don't use it anymore. I'll also pop these in while doing chores around the house. They pair to my phone and Steam Deck without issue.
I had other earbuds before this that were about $35 but not noise cancelling. They fell out of my pocket while I was out of town, so I splurged on something that would sound better, and I'm happy with them for the price point and form factor.
I would also love some suggestions. I have never liked the sound, or fit, of my Beats Fit Pros.
What use cases?
For gaming, the Steelseries Arctis GameBuds have been pretty fantastic so far. Great audio, great battery life, and an included USB-C dongle for 2.4 GHz audio.
Bose of course, …but bring lube($$)
