What a terrible writing.

30yo overdosed on copium and got a heart attack. The MC is an asshole and gaslighting narcissist.

No you don't say "I love you" to your sister and then gaslight her that it was sincere just because you couldn't cope with your childhood delusion about magic.

Also I can't quite my finger on it but I have a gut feeling that this is also Emotional Intelligence Brain Rot. There are some accurate things about emotions and some that aren't.

I am dropping this show.

Plot and pacing seem really slow and it has yet to give me a reason to keep watching. I’ll give it one more since the tease at the end seems meaningful, but I’m not feeling hopeful.

I feel like they would need to go much more complex and interesting on the theory of magic in the show in order to support this slow pacing.

It's an interesting premise - how do people originally figure out that magic exists and how they learn to control those powers? We usually see worlds where magic is already established.

But you're spot-on about the pacing. Glacially slow and just not interesting enough in terms of discovering how the magic in this world works.

I suspect if an anime is made about Newton observed an apple fell to the time he derived the Universal Law of Gravitation, the pacing would be like this one.

Yeah, but only if Newton is isekai'd to a lower-mass world with a smaller G constant, so the apple falls more slowly.

The MC is losing his mind after 40 years of life (past + reincarnation) with his 100% protected virginity lol. If there’s no incest, it’s possible he’ll die a virgin again.
