As nasty as the flu is this year, at least it’s not likely to do this. No one wants to be a repeat medical consumer, especially in the United States with these prices. COVID, however, has ruined too many, medically, for the long term.

Longer? It's never going away. Even vaccination doesn't protect you fully or stop you from spreading it. Unless some different and much more effective vaccine is developed, it's here to stay.
