The only inaccurate part is that the eyes aren't covered as well
That's actually a projection of their eyes to make looking at the person using the headset less uncanny
so when was the book released?
Google says 1982 was the original release date, written by Emily Prager, illustrated by Frank Morris, published by Pocket Books.
