I guess sometime over these next 4 years Taiwan will be gonezo. The 2010s and 2020s are gonna be in textbooks for not the right reasons I guess

You know, that's not a terrible idea.

If Taiwan is so strategic to US interests and reliant on the US for defense, perhaps it should just become another state.

I hedging my bet that the invasion happens on the 20th.

I hope I'm wrong, but it would be perfect timing with the chaos of the transition and none of the major Secretary positions filled.
