Psycho!

“I can’t assure you on either of those two,” Trump said in response to a reporter’s question. “But I can say this, we need them for economic security.”

That is such bullshit, USA is already allowed to have military bases on Greenland, whatever the fuck Trump believes USA needs Greenland for, he can try to negotiate. And he will be negotiating with allies!

It would be absolutely moronic for Greenland to sell out to USA, and lose their self determination.
So Trump's attempt to buy Greenland and to put pressure on it, is absolutely moronic.

Now Trump is losing goodwill towards USA and himself in particular, so he is less likely to get what it is he actually wants.

Trump's threat to Panama is because the government is trying to collect on the tax bill he dodged.

They should respond with, "Due to President elect Trump's threats, we are going to seek protection from Russia to ensure the safety of international commerce."

Trump can't go against his daddy Putin.

The Greenland thing comes from Musk.

It's been his dream for years now, thinking about the melting ice cap, to buy Greenland and rename it Xland and turn it into an enclave for tech billionaires. It'll have a dock equipped to handle container ships, a main strip of corporate skyscrapers, strip clubs and fast food restaurants, an international airport that will only be open to private jets, a scenic ring road that will only be open to high-powered sports cars and a separate enclave for ex-wives, mistresses and children.

What happens if a nato country attackas a nato country?

[–] Aedis 1 points 2 weeks ago

There's nothing specific on this, but it would seem to be that if a member of nato would make the rules of the treaty to contradict themselves it would instantly trigger a vote to have them removed from nato. (which would be another can of worms whichever way that went)
