Task panicked when adding photo to post (lemm.ee)

Hi, every time for the last month or so that I've tried to upload an image for a post, I've gotten "task panicked". This happens regardless of whether I use lemm.ee or Lemmy.world and I'm also seeing it on other clients. What gives?

Probably through web UI or another client.

Same, can't upload images but error is invalid peer certificate.
