Actually it will probably go way up. It always goes up under republicans and the last time Trump was president it increased substantially (by 40.43%, about $8.18 trillion).
Would it be better for dems to vote to eliminate the debt ceiling if they get the chance, even if Trump is likely to balloon the deficit if he gets the opportunity? That's my feeling, that defusing that bomb is worth it.
The way it always goes. Why do you all keep pretending like anything will change?
