/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

"She's seen me! And my flute! And that guy whose hands are actually playing the flute!"

[–] [email protected] 19 points 3 days ago

Was there ever a reason given for this? Stewart was shown in other scenes doing a fine job pretending to play.

Riker finally gets his hands on Picard's flute.

It's the same as when David Bowie plays with his balls in Labyrinth. Clearly when you're that level of famous, they pay for professionals to play your flute or play with your balls.

Those were David's hands, but not David's balls.

Holy shit! I thought you were joking so I just looked it up 🤣

You can't give context to a meme based on something taken out of context!

Picard: "Look, I never told you about my wife and kids. Don't worry, they've been dead for centuries."

[–] aeronmelon 25 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Look, context does not guarantee anything will make sense. Just that now you know why there’s a comic book speech bubble in a random screenshot of The Next Generation.

Picard: “Or my other family in the Nexus. But that exists outside of space-time so we can pretend it hasn’t happened yet.”

[–] FlyingSquid 18 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Picard has more imaginary kids than Geordi has imaginary girlfriends!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 days ago

That you know of...

just ask Barclay - he gets it!:-P

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago

That also explains the deep fried optic of the bubble

[–] DarkCloud 8 points 3 days ago

At least she didn't ask him how many lights there were.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 days ago

Oh I like the comic bubble style. That's clever

I get this reference.jpg

I don't get it.
