For a short while in 2007 I worked for a moving company. And some of our tasks were part of evictions: pack up everything in an apartment and store it until the (former) tenant had a new place ready.
In other words: we had unfiltered access to someone's un-prepared apartment while packing, and there were two things we always hoped to find:
- Used syringes - It got us some extra coin. Hazard pay, apparently.
- A dildo - Whenever someone found one, the rest of us would pick up their bar tab next time we were out.
