I would object if it wasn't both true and funny.

One of the guys I shoot with even says the same basic thing, full on serious. "Those damn AR pussies playing dressup while a shooter with an ak is already done with the job".

What's even more hilarious to me is that he'll say that while shooting an AR. He prefers otherwise, but has one anyway because the ammo is cheaper.

Meanwhile, I'm over there with my mini-14, chomping a candy cigar and saying I love it when a plan comes together and laughing at all of them

Mini 14s are still cool guns! I personally have been trying to cultivate a cowboy aesthetic but I live in the suburbs and all I have so far is a lever action rifle

Still fun to shoot though so fuck it

I love mine. It isn't quite the ones from the a-team, but it's just so fun to shoot.

I feel you on the cowboy thing. I ended up getting an insane deal on a marlin 30-30 lever gun, but I've yet to find an old all school revolver in my budget. Which is fine tbh, I don't need it, it would end up being decorative since when I shoot handgun, it's either my carry piece, or my grandfather's 1911.

But damn, there is something extra cool about lever action, isn't there?
