This is neat but the people who bother you will eventually notice that the light is almost never green if you're at your desk, and will decide to ignore it. This is why using a cattle prod is much more effective. Pain stimulus and conditioning will eventually train them to stay away

In my IT management days, I had an employee who struggled with ADHD. In particular, being interrupted when she was focusing was immensely stressful and ruined her day. I bought her a similar light that clipped onto her desk and advised all office staff to abide by it - absolutely never interrupt her when the light is Red unless the building is on fire. The system worked great and her productivity and happiness skyrocketed.
