I've noticed that it automatically moves towards the left if I push it forward without riding. Will that be a big issue?

Also in what progression should I start learning tricks?

Trucks are too tight loosen them a little.

Start with skating in a straight line and then get control over turning. Adjust those trucks until it feels easy but you still have control.

Next is ollie’s, nollies, and shuvits then pop shuvits then on to flip tricks. Get those down forwards and backwards and come back in a year.

The main thing about skating is how long it takes to get tricks. Don’t expect miracles overnight, you are going to suuuuuck and you are going to slam for a loooooong time.

Once you get comfortable with that fact you are on your way.
