I have a few subs I want to give away, and I am wondering; what would be the best way to give away communities you're no longer interested in running?

The typical way to recruit new mods is by posting to request them in the community itself. Anyone sufficiently interested in the topic to spend time running a community around it is quite probably subscribed.

if any active posters, I just draft them. no deserters so far. yeah ad in community works. if it's just you do whatever. I created groups to save bookmarks and pics. few got swamped in the reddit-exit. a few are just me mostly. profile history is favorite way to vet any account
