Well, they're deluding themselves into beleiving they are, anyway. There is no actual "relationship."
Oh dear god what could go wrong
As a gen Zer, I honestly use AI stuff too much, although I've never gotten so far into it that I developed a strong relationship, all I do with services like chatGPT and others are to ask questions about random topics, mainly random off-the-dome questions and advice on topics like games and schoolwork, and the occasional conversation.
I noticed that I tend to learn at a worse level and don't research much above the surface nowadays due to this, and it seems like this excessively convenient service is causing a craving, just like alrogithmic social media addiction.
I'm a little lost on how to get myself out of this, although baby steps like causing more friction, such as removing AI app widgets on my mobile devices and web apps on desktop ones, could have some benefit, although for desktop, I mainly just type the URL anyway, so I'm not sure.
