Ah, an homage to the killdozer. Such an odd occurrence, the Wikipedia article is wild. Bit of a loon the fella

WTYP podcast did an episode on the Killdozer guy. The main argument was apparently over an illegal septic system he had installed, that didn't work and he was pumping the waste out into a stream behind his property. He's not the folk hero people think he is, but I gotta admit the story is still pretty entertaining and I still wanna root for him.

Also he screwed up his design because the bulldozer ended up overheating.

What’s really wild is that multiple friends of the guy had been to his shop in the months leading up to the rampage.

None of them mentioned the custom tank he was building.

Pretty good friends.

Wow are Germans just learning about the killdozer? You guys are in for a treat.

PS: He made the thing too over-engineered and his rampage ended when it overheated. Relatable?

You mean the guy that uncovered a conspiracy and when ignored by every level of legal action and rendered destitute decided to take matters into his own hands making sure to only damage property and not hurt a single person is crazy?

Not the same thoughts I had on the subject.

Edit: I think I merged two stories together here. I remember a guy discovering the traffic lights in his town were rigged to get more people to run red lights and therefore give the police more tickets. Guy went through every legal channel and they told him to forget about it and then ruined him when he refused.

Nah, Heemeyer wasn't some kind of folk hero. He was a dangerous paranoid crackpot.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 week ago

None of that is true.

making sure to only damage property and not hurt a single person

Go re-read the Wikipedia article…

Any sources? Couldn't find anything in the Wikipedia article.

I've read/watched a bunch of different takes on this story, and this one covers it well, and is entertaining to boot.

He tried to kill several people with his firearms, but the cramped design of the dozer meant he couldn't aim effectively. As another commenter said, none of what you posted is true. Hemayer was an angry asshole.

Throw on a coat of green paint and you're good to go to Kursk.

I must know the context for this vehicle.

My best guess is construction workers engaged in some kind of chemically influenced competition. Maybe a welders vs masons stand-off. In which case, what are the masons driving?
