I just don't care. I have my own shit that I have been dealing with already.
Idk, I've read/listened to quite a few memoirs since I started reading for fun like 2 years ago.
I thought Jeannette McCurdy's memoir was absolutely fantastic, and it sold amazingly well! Matthew Perry's was also really good (RIP). Josh Peck and Britney Spears had good ones too - I related more to the former but both were great.
I also read Gary Gulman's which wasn't as fun the whole way through. Feeling the same about Reggie Watts. They're just soo long! And not enough to be interested about lol
I have a huge pile of others to get through already: Kal Penn, Matthew McConaughey, J Dilla, Edward Snowden, Terry Crews, Trevor Noah, and then getting to a bunch of the classics like Malcolm X or Why the Caged Bird Sings would be cool
If anyone has good recs go ahead and let me know!
I've enjoyed Michael J Fox's memoirs, and Eddie Izzard's. The trick is to listen to them rather than read them.
The Walrus is a bit beyond my level of comfort in reading comprehension - it's like they make their articles inaccessible on purpose to seem educated or shun the unwanted. They have good points and research, but they fire a lot of fireworks to transport them to you.
Edit: Not my first language
