I use that for my 3d printer. My wifi was all fine and dandy until I got an enclosure for my printer and the metal foil seriously impacted my signal strength. Used these to get Ethernet across my house, works great in a pinch!

Until you try to use it. They have limited bandwidth and totally shit the bed if you have noisy, high power devices running on the same panel (anything with a motor).
Yeah, but don’t those usually have an Ethernet port on them? If this is a PoE adaptor, it’s the stupidest one I’ve ever seen because it requires a USB to Ethernet adapter.
Its a usb dongle for laptops that are missing an ethernet port.
Sorry, that was sarcasm, it's just a USB to RJ45 adapter (a lan card), like Thief said.
That's where the internet begins.
That's how you get wireless internet. You have to charge the internet before taking it with you.
