I think it would be nice to exchange what you like to play. Maybe there are games that some people don't know or can recommend to others.

Just write in the comments what fits the thread title.

Here is my list of what we currently like to play in a small group (up to 6 players) with older children (aged 10 and over). The common factor in this group is entertaining games:

  • Crazy Words
  • Just One
  • Double
  • Ligretto
  • Scyjo
  • UNO flip
  • Crack List
  • Wizard

Games to fill a game night:

  • Dog
  • Romme
  • Azul
  • Rummikub
  • Tabu XXL

Is 5-6 the typical player count or is it usually 4 or less? A lot of games max out at 4 or play too slow with more. There are plenty of great games for 5-6 or more but its an important consideration.

For 5-6 my picks would be Challengers, 6 nimmt!, various roll & writes (Welcome To, Super Mega Lucky Box etc), 7 Wonders, It's a Wonderful World (might need expansion for 6), Sushi Go Party, Tiny Towns.

Games with fast turns or simultaneous play.

Cool - a lot of new stuff for me. We play normaly 2-3 hours. At the beginning with up to 6 people. At the end 3-4 players.

Thank you. Different versions of "Werewolf" is new for me. I think 6 people are the minimum to play "Werewolf".

Maybe it's optimal, but we play with less than 6 people pretty regularly. Maybe we're just bad at it?

It's not possible to be bad at It. Either you have fun, or you don't have fun. If 'Werewolf' works for you in a small group, it's good.
