I'm inclined to agree. Her stepping doesn't necessarily mean Biden gets an appointment. It means a lot of chicanery is going to come into play to try to give Trump a day one appointment. We don't know if it'll succeed, but they'll try.
Imagine if Biden had the guts to stuff SCOTUS like a clown car.
It burns me to think of all the shit you could get away with being in that position of incredible power, too old to threaten, on your way out... And he just ain't gonna go for it.
