The amount of people I see on Lemmy saying “Ugh Google is so bad with all their Chrome shenanigans! I install Brave on my own and all my family’s computers!” is honestly heartbreaking 🤦♂️

much thanks to @gary_host_laptop for the logo design :)
Firefox ftw
The browser's original purpose was to market their shitcoin wasn't it?
The thing that pushed me off of brave before joining this community was that the fonts were broken on NixOS lmao
Can't believe they're doing this AGAIN
This is a three year old post, friend.
Shits getting recommended like it happened today
Yeah, it happens on “hot” when you get low enough, I’ve noticed.
Between this and Chrome pushing their DRM bullshit to stop adblocking in Chromium based browsers, it's a fine time to get everybody to switch to Firefox (which is a better browser anyways).
I’d really like some additional sources on this. But yeah. Even a sample of one is not good
Oh!!!
First. Yes thank you.
Second. Yeah eff them
Did you note that this is a 3 years old post m
No I had not. So thank you.
I hate when shit gets recycled. Now the next question is— are they still doing this?
This isn't news. This has been Brave's business model from the beginning.
It's a 3 year old post...
That would explain why Lemmy displayed it on the front page of my hot feed.
It's been happening a lot lately, nearly got me a few times.
