The plot thickins lmao. Idk about everyone else but i am very much enjoying the shit show that has become of twitter.

Me too!

I really wish I could find a solid replacement for twitter, so I could finally leave. Mastodon does not it it for me and Blue Sky is impossible to get into.

I feel ya man. As much as im enjoying lemmy, i really liked reddit and wish it hadn't gone the way it did. Idk if Lemmy is my replacement yet but so far, the community/communities here are all pretty great and i enjoy interacting with you all.

I was never one for Twitter but hopefully a better company pops up or something.

Yeah Lemmy has been good so far. I still use Reddit every now and then due to some niche communities that I follow. But the damn app is a disaster! It has really helped me to reduce my time over there. 3rd party apps were king.

Oh 100%. I used rif and i really enjoyed that. I just cant use the main reddit app. It suuuucks. And i hate that they screwed over users and moderators for their bottomline. Not surprised but it really put me off reddit for good.

I understand if you still got subs you like there though. I was apart of r/screaming and i enjoyed helping people there. May make a community here for that.

It's sad. This is America. It's embarrassing.

Well, after Elon Musk tried to gain some money by suing companies here and there for ridiculous Twitter infringements, the tables are turned 😂

Hopefully, advisories and investors will start to pull support for Musk's projects—such a giant man-child.

How crazy it is that it's possible to trademark a single letter of the alphabet

Only for specific contexts as I understand it, in Microsoft's case revolving around online multiplayer games and chat services it seems (look under Goods and Services tab)

Chat services. Nice.
