MODERATORS

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for suggestions in how we can grow and develop this community. We have a chance to develop something interesting and the impetus of this change will rely upon all of us to make it happen. Are there any ideas that you'd like to see implemented here? Community events? Challenges? Support?

I'd love to see this place flourish, and anything that I can do to draw interest would be fantastic.

Thanks for your suggestions!

You could try posting on r/mechanicalengineering and other engineering related subreddits to let people know this lemmy community exists.

Posts. Give people a reason to come here.

Whether it is posts about engineering projects or new products. Career questions and advice. Trends within the industry. Suggestions on projects. Inside scoop on how certain companies are like to work for, or work with.

You need a critical mass of people to sustain a vibrant community. Reddit was decent for getting new a constant flow of new posts by a rather large number of members.

100% agree on more posts in general. I'll keep trying to post something daily to grow the community. Any assistance from anyone on content would be wholeheartedly welcome.
