It's demo vehicles, not consumer vehicles.

Also I'm skeptical its the first vehicle. I'm sure others have prototyped it. Solid state batteries aren't 'new' we just can't manufacture them effectively with good yield at a good price so they aren't in consumer products.

Very exciting, I hope we continue to see R&D yield improvements in EVs. They’re already a better choice for many people, cost aside. Improvements to performance will continue improving their potential market coverage.

Hurry up and put this in your fiat 500e. It currently has a paltry range and is overpriced. This would solve both problems.
