One of the original, and currently largest, punk communities on Lemmy. The purpose of this place should be obvious from the title. Self promotion is ok, but spam is not, so keep it reasonable.
The goal is to help everyone find new tracks from around the world. Post new music, or your old favourites, but hopefully as you browse the group you'll find something you haven't heard before. Think more crate digging than top 40 streaming services.

what a cool band with a bunch of cool people.
Saw them in Minnesota on their final tour, it was a great show. Sad to see them throwing in the towel, but they’ve had a good run, and I completely get it.
I'm so glad I got to see them when they came through Fort Worth on this final tour. It was a great show, but leaving felt surreal. Almost like a chapter of my life was coming to a close. My buddies and I would blast Punk in Drublic while cruising around in highschool. I'd seen them play at least a half dozen times. And always looked forward to their new albums.
Although I am looking forward to seeing what the members will do next. Codefendants and Melvinator have both been good projects so far.
My buddy went to that show. I wish I had realized it sooner so I could have taken a trip to go.
