What I'm hearing is "I did a bad thing but I have ADHD and I said sorry so it's a whoopsie that shouldn't affect me" but without a genuine apology. Blaming the namesake of this space and "impulsivity" shows nothing but immaturity imo. We get it. You like money. You don't like being called out. Maybe, don't abuse the rules and you won't get called out?

OP made one mistake and apologized. I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt here.
I'm down for the apology. It just lost all impact when OP immediately follows up by blaming ADHD and impulsively. That's exceptionally uncool considering the community that was affected. The sarcasm is also problematic especially considering the level of authority that was abused here. The post couldnt be removed by the exact people who are supposed to be able to remove content when needed. To take the attitude of "big deal, so scary" compounds my suspicion of immaturity and is not encouraging to see in an administrator.
I was just making light of the fact that I do have ADHD and didn't think. I made a mistake. ADHD Or not.
A bit harsh for one mistake. Geez. All I can do is say sorry. Just thought it was a great event. Shouldn't have posted it with the affiliate link. Geez.
Aw geez yeah man eek. Like, such a bummer it broke the rules and couldn't be removed because you accidently locked it to the page. Idk it doesn't sound like you give a shit, which is a problem for an admin.
What’s RTFD? Read the fucking description?
Yep. I made a blunder and I am apologizing.
I have no idea what you're talking about, or what RTFD means.
Affiliate link mistake or not I am glad you posted that link and I want you to know that I found it valuable and at least two of my ND friends did as well (including one that just recently started a business) and are now going to attend.
I know it was against the rules but I just wanted you to know that at least someone was glad you posted it and you made a positive impact in at least one person’s life.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand why the rule exists but I think I commented on the original post too and I didn't even take it as you trying to advertise, you even said it was an affiliate link. I thought it seemed like you were just excited, and the event is free after all (cost isn’t the point I know, I think that’s why I didn’t think it was advertising).
Thanks. That was my goal but geez the vitrol.
"Vitriol"
Thanks. Spelling is not my strong suit!

"I have ADHD", is a reasonable explanation, if you have ADHD and are talking to a fellow ADHD, or a parent of said ADHD. But the NT's don't see it that way. In the NT world, there is an expectation of consideration.
I know this in theory. But I'm impulsive. So guess what I have a trail of NT's that I have to start apologizing to from the moment I see them.
This is sarcasm. Or is it. Being able to handle opposing truths about ideas comes easy as I have ADHD.
