Trujillo described how his lack of legal status made him feel uncertain about what he could accomplish, but how he “had to make the best of my life.” He said he graduated from high school, got married and had two children, now 12 and 5.

He opened a restaurant that he said is struggling due to the high cost of labor and goods, and said he was hopeful Trump would usher in better economic times.

“I’m happy with the opportunity that Trump has again to run and hopefully get us back on track,” Trujillo said. “I think there’s room to make America greater.”

But it's okay, he's a citizen now. It happened... let me check... before Trump was president.

"I've got mine, fuck you" once again.

There was that 2016 trump vote who's husband got deported. These folks are as stupid as they are hateful.

Ease up,” Trump said. “You have great ambition, you have great energy, very smart, and you really do, like natural entrepreneurs.”

It's always interesting to see his "throw it all at the wall and see what sticks" strategy in action. I imagine it allows his campaign to clip specific lines of his that'll appeal to whoever they need to appeal to at that moment, then let it disseminate on social media. So a white nationalist might get "blood of our nation", and an immigrant might get "smart and natural entrepreneurs".

Afterward, Trujillo said in an interview that though his parents overstayed their visas, they achieved legal status. Likewise, Trujillo has been a U.S. citizen since 2011.

He said he has come to understand Trump’s vocal opposition to those entering the country illegally due to concerns about drug and sex trafficking.

This is a very stupid man. I think we should rescind his citizenship and kick his ass out. Not because he was previously here on an expired visa, but because his inability to reason is jeopardizing the country with his dumbass vote.

A complete lack of understanding of a lot of things from the sound of it. He's a former undocumented immigrant who got citizenship under Obama and absolutely would not have gotten citizenship under Trump complaining about immigration and complaining about a lack of staff for his restaurant.
