The key thing is practice. Like any creative pursuit, your first attempts will be trash. The greatest writers, artists and musicians ever went through this too. If you care about that form of creative expression, just keep at it!

We all started with scribbles, some people proceeded to stick figures. Some kept going further than that, the mad bastards.

Honestly yeah. It's kinda a snowball effect. Once you learn how to do it then it becomes easier to learn from watching others.

It's like trying to learn how to program by reading someone else's code, but without even knowing what a variable or a function is first.
