Wow Mozilla, just wow.

Even the slowest chromium based browser that is not open source and is looking for profit is understanding their users more than you.

Just wow.

I'd argue a for profit company is probably more likely to understand what their customers want, given their goal is to make as much money as possible.

Yet here we are with the like of google, amazon, Microsoft and Apple ruining the tech space for everyone.

Mozzila is way out touch with users, its very unfortunate the direction they've been headed.

At least until recently, all those companies made a good product.

So did mozzila. Guess my point is, it doesn't matter if they've for profit or not. Once any software company gets big enough, they turn to shit. Maybe not a universal truth, but it does seem to be a common one.

It seems to be when they reach the end of their "growth" phase, and start trying to get the most revenue out of their current customer base.

Maybe not a universal truth, but it does seem to be a common one I like this way of seeing things, be assured I will steal this formulation

Hey don't steal that!

I stole it fair and square.

I switched to mullvad yesterday and have been using librewolf on my pc for a year now.

Those are projects downstream from firefox, meaning they would go down with firefoz. Maybe if things go too bad, librewolf or Mullvad could fork and develop firefox themselves.

I am aware of that but they are unfortunately my best option outside of very niche browsers like w3m which doesn't have a mobile version
