Using a bunch of cheap guitars to go nuts with alternate tunings and string combos is pretty clever.

$99 guitar.... $10,000+ in other equipment.

I mean, he said right in the video, the most important part of the signal path are the neurons in your brain. I play what I play because I "feel" it. Another guitar, be it $99 or $100,000 might not "feel" the same in my hand. I can change the sound, clean the tones, or alter the electrical signals a million different ways using an almost unlimited amount of equipment, but the IDEA is what makes the sound come out "right".

I absolutely LOVE this video, and the whole philosophical conversation about "where" the sound comes from. Thank you for sharing!

I saw this video on Paul’s channel and ended up picking up that Valhalla Plate reverb used. Running it in Logic paired with one of my Neural DSP plugins. That reverb is just beautiful.
