Just found out today this is happening to my network attached storage device. With the latest update the company has removed previously included software used for watching movies as well as the codecs used for photos/videos from iPhone. So frustrating as these were selling points for the device and now it’s just gone.

See if you can install openmediavault or truenas for the OS.
