Hes a CEO. That explains it all.
These old farts at the CEO desk truly don't understand games, or the gamers, at all. They just look at numbers and care about the money.
To be fair, Guillemot has been in the game longer than most CEOs; he's one of the original founders of Ubisoft along with his four brothers, who also founded the hilariously named but extremely decent racing wheel manufacturer 'Thrustmaster'.
Doesn't stop him from being an absolute twat of a capitalist who oversaw a culture of sexual harrassment and workplace abuse, of course.
As a Manchester United supporter I somehow know of a football reference for what you wrote. It starts with the Gla and ends with the zers.
But I have much higher hopes for this and actually feel Microsoft are cleansing and perhaps even saving a sinking ship more than becoming an even more bigger and evil corporate.
