Why put chips and e-waste in there when a crank and escapement type doodad works just fine at a tenth the price?

well you see, you get 15 different rocking cycles, and it can record your own distinct rocking patterns to exactly mimic a hand-rocked cradle… plus you can control it with an app and have it rock in beat with spotify….

Perhaps stuff like this will have the unintended consequence of getting parents to see the issues of these "convenience" ~~tools~~ toys.
