No worries, my Steam deck arrives tomorrow.

Probably better that way, if it was going to launch this year, it probably should have been shown off already. It would also be the big gift item everyone wants under their tree this Christmas, and they wouldn't be able to keep up with demand and between scalping and low stock everyone would be as upset as they were when they couldn't get a PS5. If they launch in the Spring, the fans who are going to want to buy one on day one should have their units in hand before the holiday rush and it should be easier to keep up with demand, since their two biggest buyer waves won't hit at the same time.
