The Conservatives are literally running on making sure Postmedia doesn't have any competition. And they look like they're going to win.
Yet more foreign ownership of Canadian media outlets.
We need to fucking kill this and I think it's quite reasonable to tell smรดl PP to STFU and actually increase our federal funding of domestic media.
It is a public service to have media that isn't beholden entirely to advertisers and I'd be happy to pay more taxes to support it.
