RULES:

I am looking for mods!

1. The "good" part of our community means we are pro-empathy and anti-harassment. However, we don't intend to make this a "safe space" where everyone has to be a saint. Sh*t happens, and life is messy. That's why we get things off our chests.

2. Bigotry is not allowed. That includes racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and religiophobia. (If you want to vent about religion, that's fine; but religion is not inherently evil.)

3. Frustrated, venting, or angry posts are still welcome.

4. Posts and comments that bait, threaten, or incite harassment are not allowed.

5. If anyone offers mental, medical, or professional advice here, please remember to take it with a grain of salt. Seek out real professionals if needed.

6. Please put NSFW behind NSFW tags.

R.I.P. Chester Bennington.

Also I love Fort Minor (a one-album, multi-artist project where Mike Shinoda was a lead rapper).

You arent alone.

When i was in grade 6 or 7 kurt kobain killed himself. I remember one girl carved KC on her arm.

If you arent aware of the 27 club its a thing you might be interested in avoiding completely or dive right in.

Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Amy Winehouse, Brian Jones

Theres older people who have been where you are, i hope you find some of those peoples stories.

I was fortunate to see Chris Cornell on his Euphoria Morning tour, but never got to see Soundgarden.

A few years ago i fell for an april fools day prank for aLed Zepplin reunion show. I almost bought airfare before i realized what happened.

I was low for while after feeling like i had lost the opportunity to see them all over again. (Was a fan before i knew who they were and was made fun of for asking to go see a zepplin show if they came to town when i was very little. It was a weird rollercoaster of emotions when i figured out it was an april fools joke, thinking i was actually going to have a chance to see them after having to live through a lot of ridicule. I pretty much stopped hoping for nice things after the first time then got my hopes up all over again and feeling like an idiot for falling for an april fools joke and not realizing it either. I hate that i was ever born)

Edit. The april fools prank might have been the same year chester died now that i think about it
