The fact that people are still going to vote for the orange jumpsuit is insane to me.

If the debate was the only thing I tuned in to (which I think is the case for a lot of people), I'd vote for Trump.

He said a lot of true-sounding lies and didn't trail off every 15 words

That's not to say I'm going to vote for Trump, but god damn I lost whatever little faith I had in Biden last night. It's a shame that he's the only one holding back Trump from getting in office again

Trump dodged the questions almost every time...

The fact that people are not rioting if those are the options they are presented with is even more insane

I'd vote for the wheelchair over either of the two.

As a Canadian who watched the debate, holy shit I thought the clips I see online were rare occurrences, not every sentence.

It was like watching an incoherent fight at the old folks home (and nothing to do with politics).

I don't like the boomer style but can't deny that it's very accurate

Probably just referring to the classic political cartoon style of art.

And Depends...

For what purpose? Biden stammered good points, while Trump spewed lies and hate with conviction.

The fact that people are zeroing in on Biden is crazy.

Trump will end this fucking country if he makes it back into the white house.

Trump spewed lies, while Biden could barely speak in complete sentences and made a bunch of dumb mistakes, while CNN was being CNN as always. The entire thing was a complete mess. America is cooked, the entire world is laughing right now including Americans.

Trump : lie lie lie, dodging question, dodging question + nah uh, no you + you're old + ratio

Biden : heavy ass breathing, stutter, word salad, an actual good point, more word salad, heavy breathing, what was I talking about again, an actual good point + you're a felon + ratio

The fact that people are zeroing in on Biden is crazy.

Nobody is "zeroing in on Biden", everyone is making fun of both of them.

The highest point for Biden was when Trump lied and said "...trying to rip the baby out of the womb in the 9th month and kill the baby..." and Biden called him out, saying "that is simply not true...".

And the democrats have the audacity to risk it all by setting up a walking corpse as his opponent. This is insane. Biden isn't just stammering, he is incomprehensible at times. And voters can compare Biden with himself four years ago and can imagine what will be his mental state the coming years. He needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Otherwise the DNC is responsible for Americas descent into fascism.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

And then you discover that the nurse's name is Ratched...

[–] db2 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Still a net improvement, as scary as that is.
