I think the best strat right now is to point out how bad of a politician Pierre Poilievre is and to push for proportional representation.
Yeah. Emergency electoral reform has been on my mind but I don't see them doing it. :|
I saw a quite a few comments about how NDP and Green voters were somehow the bad guys in the by election but the Liberals seem more than happy to let the Conservatives run Canada into the ground for 4 years and somehow they've done a "good job".
In a riding where LPC won by half a point in 2021, one could say something about vote split. It's given plenty of seats to the cons in the past even governments. That's not one of these elections. I don't believe that the LPC's strategy is to let the cons run us into the ground, at least not for now. I could see that being the case of were a month from the federal election with the same numbers. π€·
do the Liberals have any good options to turn things around?
Quit the party and vote NDP.
