I'm sorry, but if you leave your private key in a repo and then make that repo public you're ngmi

I'm sorry but if you put your private key in a repo at all and don't immediately scream aaaaah! what did I do! and change all the locks on everything, you're ngmi

100%. I wonder what the timing is on how quickly you get scanned for keys. Is there a feed or something?

Wow, yikes. As if there wasn't already reason enough to never commit a plaintext secret, there's basically no grace period to recover.

There's this weird trend where some people simultaneously think:

  1. Chat-GPT will do everything for them and makes all problems trivial
  2. Whatever they decide to do with it still has value and is a good career choice

Obviously 1 is false, but if we lived in a bizarro world where it was true then the "prompt engineers" would very quickly realize that literally anyone is capable of engineering prompts and they are not in fact a unique and special person who is better than anyone else at asking jarvis to wipe their butt for them.

See also: the weirdos on twitter who argue that all careers except "prompt engineering" are on borrowed time.

Why wouldn't ChatGPT, the perfect tool, simply give us the best prompts if we ask for them? Simply replace the prompt engineer with ChatGPT to save a ton of money.

TBF that's a great start towards $100k daily volume.

The best thing about "*.eth" accounts is you can immediately tell what they've been huffing before even reading the insane post below.

If you were someone who believed in IQ like a religion, but had just made a stupid and costly mistake, I would hope you'd take a second to think. Maybe IQ isn't everything, and it's definitely not the only thing, that makes people successful or unsuccessful.

Instead he busts out a slur and jokes about having an IQ of 26

[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 months ago (1 children)

cuz i’m quite literally retarded, my IQ is 26

Can't disagree with you there, promptfondler with an .eth username

Not the downvoter, but possibly it was about reposting the slur tbf.
