you're welcome pal
This is very cool, but has anyone actually ever cooked a ribeye in an air fryer? That’s wild if yes.
Honestly it’s not too bad! My air fryer makes it pretty easy to check internal temps of the meat and it’s less energy to use and whatnot so it’s actually a really good option. Of course if you’re cooking for 4+ maybe use something else, but for me and my SO it’s perfect.
Love my air fryer! Can confirm most of these times and temps. Seems pretty spot on.
Best things made in the air fryer:
- Chicken wings
- Salmon/catfish/tilapia
- Roasted potatoes
- Bacon
- Pork chops/filets
- Brussels sprouts
Best things to reheat using the air fryer:
- Pizza
- French fries
- Any fried food
Yes - esp for fried foods! My air fryer has been an absolute godsend for reheating fried foods. The bonus is when I use it on takeout food and it becomes crispier and fresher tasting than when served (i.e. 5 Guys fries) so it makes waste less food now.
OK but since when are sausage links seafood?
I’m not sure I can trust this.
Why is pork separate from “meat”, and why is bacon NOT listed under pork??
I was walking around for 20 minutes at the store last week looking for bacon. Looked all over the meat section, pork chops, pork steaks, hams, no bacon in sight. I ended up finding at the back of the store, past the dairy, between the milk and biscuits in a small section labeled "Breakfast Meats."
It's the strangest, most confusion thing I've ever seen.
Are people still using air fryers? I've got one, but stopped using it because the non-stick coating of the tray was not healthy for my pet bird.
i would think the bird being in the air fryer is more of a health concern for it then the coating would be.
I still love mine. I think you can’t get air fryers that just have a plain metal mesh basic instead of the non-stick
How do you remove the taste of plastic or new from food made in the air fryer?
Is it normal? Am I doing something wrong? Does my air fryer suck?
Not something I've experienced.
If it's new, it's going to make that odor for a little while. Frequent use will eventually remove it.
Thank you, I have always wonder about this
