There are vegans who have never or haven't eaten 'vegan' bacon bits in years. It's a novelty.
Try eating a french fry and get back to me about THAT vegan food.
Oh, I'm already aware that many French fries are prefried, frozen and refried in some sort of animal fat oils and beef tallow and whatever.
Luckily I don't care, but yeah you're right, practically all French fries are non-vegan, and they shouldn't try to deceive the public as if they are.
