Yep, that's the entire objective of a police interrogation.

That's why you say nothing at all, even if it seems unrelated

I've recently got into watching interrogations of biking gangs and such and its crazy the different ways they go about doing it

When they said they can protect him off world, I doubt Daniel thought of what happened on the Destiny as safer.

They actually just stuck him in one of the Ancient people freezer systems.

Jack thought of it since it would be “safer”.
