I bet that blend knob is amazing for getting more usable tones out of that thing. That's awesome!

I mean, sure if I ever used it. But if I ever actually used any of these I'd realize I wouldn't have to keep getting more, and that would be ludicrous.
(But yeah, blend knobs on pedals for bass are almost a must. I bought 5 Buff&Blend kits to have on hand for other projects.)
I'm not familiar with the Big Cheese. What are the modes?
There were big in the '90s. All the grunge bands used them. Shit tones of others too. Mode is a rotary switch that selects between four different tone modes: Off (tone bypass), S (scooped mids), F (flat mids), and Chaos mode which biases the transistor into instability. Theres a trim pot in the box that sets the bias.
Wow, I love it! Such a great, gnarly sound. I love how the edgy spitty quality stacks when you multi track with it. I made a PedalPCB version, but yours is primo!
