I kinda figured that the Lemmy API would be reasonably similar enough to the Reddit API that it wouldn't be a massive effort. Assuming good code architecture that keeps the backend separate from the frontend. :)
From what i saw trying to figure out how the lemmy api worked, it's much simpler than the reddit api

I only ask that the red/blue is reversed so anyone posting old Reddit upvote memes will never make sense to me, because I'll absolutely be using Sync immediately in 10%.
You tell em! Also looking forward to your app! Sync was the last Reddit app I used and am looking forward to Sync for Lemmy Pro!

Don't change the logo ... just keep it as is ... I identify the app more for the app than for the site it was associated with .. I associate Sync with Sync ... I don't associate it with reddit, lemmy, kbin or anything ... I just associate it with Sync which makes the most sense to me
That logo only means Sync to me ... and as an app I think it should remain that way
I vote yes to see a more refined version of this first draft logo. π

Really excited. Made my lemmy account 5 minutes after losing access to sync for reddit. I'm using Jerboa atm but miss the convenience of sync.
Try connect, it's pretty similar to sync (albeit the lack of features the old sync had.)

I've been going back and forth between Connect and Liftoff. Both have some great features, but both are also lacking a lot.
Or Voyager. Less bugs.
Shouldn't the logo be flipped because on Lemmy upvotes are blue and downvotes are orange?

No, the colors on lemmy should be flipped to match Sync's!
I think that depends on which interface - connect for lemmy shows upvotes as orange.
Jerboa shows them as blue.

kbin doesn't even have an API yet calm down
The only app Iβm aware of for Kbin is Artemis but it hasnβt been released yet. Supposed to be heavily inspired by Apollo.
Sync creator said he wanted to add kbin support down the road.

I will say kbin's website is a hell of a lot more usable than the Reddit app at least.
