sorry, no event, or booked time can start on anything but a round number. At minimum it must start on a 5, on a 10 is preferred, and on the hour or half hour best.

I don't have to start studying on a round number but I do need to stop procrastinating on one. It's just how it is, I don't make the rules.
"Ok, it's 2:26, I'm gonna get off Lemmy at 2:30 and do laundry..."
Edit: "Oops, it's 2:49, and I'm still on Lemmy. I'll get off at 3."
Edit #2: "Shit, lost track of time, it's 3:09. Now I have to wait till 3:30, dammit."

I usually say "I'll do laundry at 3" and set an alarm for 3 called "do laundry". Of course, sometimes I hit snooze on that alarm, but then Google nags me 15 minutes later to do laundry. It usually works.
I usually start on the hour. 5:12. Oh no, guess I gotta wait till 6pm.
6:01pm? Dang I missed it, I'll make sure to be ready at 7pm....

I always turn the TV volume to an even number, whether it's round or not.
I just turned mine up to 22, and it's giving me discomfort because it's not a round number.
I recognize that you have made a decision. But given that it is a (non-obsessive)-ass decision, I've elected to ignore it.
