It’s only a matter of time until the next Kent incident happens

I was literally mentioning that to people yesterday too. Unfortunately I think it's a matter of when not if.

And just like Kent state, the majority of liberals are hating on the protestors and saying they deserve it, and just like Kent state, in twenty years they’ll all claim they were in their side the whole time.

I'm not well versed in what is happening at specific campuses across the US - but if people not associated with the school (anyone not current students/Alumni) are protesting on Private property, the school is well within their rights to have trespassers removed.

Students should be allowed to peacefully protest on school grounds, or they can join non students protest that is off campus.

I'm not sure what the answer to Israel//Palestine is, but the US is absolutely directly funding and assisting in a genocide while publicly almost maybe finger wagging Netanyahu.

I would love to see North Americans actually tuck in to protest and figure out how to actually make them work. There's so much that needs to change but never will until actual consequences come for those responsible.

They are arresting students. And suspending students without trial. And disabling the student's keycards (used to enter their dorm room and get food on campus), making them homeless and without access to the food they already paid for.

Many of these students are Jewish, which means the greatest antisemitic attacks on campus recently have been by police and the school administration themselves.

A lot of those arrests and suspensions were actually illegal when you look at the cases.

The police were called to arrest them for trespassing because they were suspended, but also, they were suspended for being arrested. The logic is entirely circular and if there was any justice the charges would be dropped and the school would be sued for damages.
